Earn Points

You can earn points by performing web searches, adding URLs to our database, and most importantly, completing a test (comparing two webpages for a search phrase).

The current amounts earned by each activity is as follows: (subject to change)

• Searching: 1 point
• Adding a new URL: 2 points
• Completing a Test: 3 points

What can you do with points? Right now, points are used to get a higher priority for any tests you create in the Cerech testing queue. Suppose you have a webpage that is not ranking well for its key search phrase. After you update the page to make the page more useful to a reader, you can order a test and get results back quicker than waiting for the normal periodic testing.

While this is the only current use for points, we are thinking of fun ways to reward our users in the future. So keep earning!

You must have sign up for an account and be logged in to earn points while searching or adding a URL. Testing is only available to signed-in users.
